ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Denali National Park and Preserve officials say it would take a miracle for two climbers to be alive after being missing for more than a week on Mount Foraker.

But they're sticking to search plans assuming that Sue Nott of Vail and Canadian Karen McNeill are still alive.

The two began their climb May 14th. They had told people at base camp that they expected to complete the climb in ten to 14 days.

Helicopters have been trying to fly over the summit since Tuesday, when tracks thought to be made by the pair were found about a thousand feet from Foraker's 17-thousand-400-foot peak.

Clouds and high winds have kept searchers from getting a good look at the summit since then. The mountain was still shrouded in clouds Saturday.
