Searchers in Alaska's Denali National Park say there is still a slim chance that a New Zealand mountaineer and her American climbing partner are alive despite being two weeks overdue from a climb on Mount Foraker.
Karen McNeill and American Sue Nott are both experienced climbers but would have run out of food at least 12 days ago and may not have fuel to melt ice for drinking water.
A US National Park Service spokesperson, Kris Fister, says low cloud and high winds on Sunday are again stopping a helicopter search of the summit of Mount Foraker.
She says there is no talk of calling off the search and they are keen to check the summit for any sign of the pair.
Fister says the search will resume as soon as there is a break in the weather.
