Announces Spring Return to Europe

Press Release:

Seattle-based thrashers HIMSA have departed for a brief headlining jaunt before meeting up with label mates The Acacia Strain for Darkest Hour's "Undoing Ruin 2006" tour, which also features A Life Once Lost and Dead To Fall. The band will plays shows back west immediately commencing the current tour when it is complete on April 1.

Meanwhile, dates for HIMSA's return to Europe have been announced. After touring the continent with 3 Inches of Blood during December 2005 in anticipation for the release of 'Hail Horror,' Himsa is excited to return to Europe, where press has since praised the new album. Kerrang called 'Hail Horror' "one of the most refreshing albums to surface in a while...a bilious, marauding antidote to the sickly sweet metalcore norm" featuring "serrated, hateful riffs that recall thrash gods Testament at their most extreme." The magazine also labeled HIMSA one of the "5 kick-ass metal bands for 2006." Metal Hammer also agrees, calling 'Hail Horror' a "gloriously vibrant effort absolutely chock full of crunchy metallic goodness." In fact, Finnish rocker Ville Valo (HIM) gives HIMSA his stamp of approval, too: "Everyone should check HIMSA out. It's extremely energetic metal that brings to mind Entombed's classic 'Left Hand Path' album with it's fuzzy guitar tones and horror movie atmospherics." European dates will start in late April and run through much of May and are listed below.

and to add...Kerrang has sucked for a few years now so a recommedation from them carries very little weight. Try Metal Hammer.
