'Dark New Day' is an American alternative metal/nu metal supergroup, formed by previous members of Sevendust, Skrape and Stereomud. Frontman Brett Hestla also played live bass for Creed, and fronted progressive rock band Virgos Merlot.

Trivia
*The song "Pieces" contains a verse from the song "Back Again" by The Devine, a band that frontman Brett Hestla also sang for, that eventually became Virgos Merlot. The verse reads "The wheels they turn for you, a deity for two. Holding on it's true, won't bring it back again. The way you look my friend, it's closer to the end, I'm holdin' out my hand to bring it back again."
