Rural schools shine in poison prevention competitions

RURAL Area schools topped the awards in The Caribbean Poison Information Network (CARPIN) Poster, Skit and DJ/Rap competitions.

Students from Westwood High, Glenmuir High, St Johns Primary and Mannings High were winners in all but one category of the competition, which was part of Poison Prevention Week activities, celebrated from May 28 to June 4, 2006, under the theme "Poison Prevention, Everybody's Business".
