The Raconteurs, the much buzzed about collaboration between Jack White, Brendan Benson and the Greenhornes’ Patrick Keeler and Jack Lawrence, recently announced the tracklist for their debut album, Broken Boy Soldiers, which will be released by Third Man-V2 on May 16. As we previously reported, the record’s first single is “Steady, As She Goes,” which was released as a 7-inch on Tuesday (March 6) and is also streaming on the band’s website.

In other Raconteur news, while we on this side of the pond wait with bated breath for the announcement of some US shows, the band will head out on a short, four-date UK tour, scheduled for the end of this month, and are also currently busy touring behind their other commitments. Tonight in Osaka, Jack plays the last show of the White Stripes’ Japanese tour, making up dates that he cancelled in January due to “acute vocal chord problems.” Next month, after returning from England with the Raconteurs, the Greenhornes, who in January and February toured Australia and New Zealand with the Stripes as part of the Big Day Out Festival, will embark on a short West Coast trek with the Willowz.
