Jet

Jet has posted a sneak preview of their new album Shine On on the band's MySpace page, after a snafu at the iTunes Music Store accidentally put the record on sale a few weeks early. According to Rolling Stone, the U.K. version of the iTMS did not set the album up for "pre-order" and temporarily allowed users to access the album for free. In response, Jet has posted two new songs, "Stand Up" and the title track, on MySpace. Shine On will arrive in stores on October 3, and radio stations around the country will air FMQB Productions' inside look at the album over the weekend of September 29.

Despite not attending the ceremony, Beyoncé was the big winner at the MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards in London yesterday. The R&B superstar won Best Song and Best Video for "Deja Vu" and Best International Female Act as well. However, reports say that the crowed booed after the third award was announced because Beyoncé was expected to attend, or at least have recorded a thank-you in advance. Organizers say Beyoncé was in France yesterday. Other winners included the Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z, Sean Paul and Rihanna.

Mario Etheridge, the man who shot and fatally wounded rapper Proof in April, was found guilty on two weapons charges during his trial in Detroit. The Detroit Free Press reports that Etheridge's two charges carry a combined maximum penalty of nine years in jail. He will be sentenced on October 17 and because he does not have any prior convictions, he may not face any time in prison.

Oscar-winning Rap group Three 6 Mafia will star in a new reality show for MTV. Adventures In Hollywood will chronicle the rappers' attempts to "establish themselves as Hollywood players," according to a statement from the network. The show will debut early in 2007.

Godsmack will hit the road with Breaking Benjamin for a fall tour. Blabbermouth.net reports it will begin at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on October 19 and wrap up on December 2 in Manchester, NH.

Aerosmith's Steven Tyler will appear on Two And A Half Men as Charlie Sheen's new neighbor in next week's episode of the hit CBS sitcom. Tyler's episode airs this Monday, September 25 at 9 p.m. EST.

Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics will host a new interview show for HBO, focusing on musicians. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable network has ordered six episodes of the untitled series and Stewart has already invited many of his friends to appear and perform on the show.

Angels & Airwaves have announced a fall North American tour, which kicks off in Las Vegas on November 3, with dates scheduled up to November 29 in Mexico City. Pop-rockers The Sounds will open up the tour.
