Rock festival Dog Jam will return Oct. 6 to Ford Pavilion and feature bands Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Hinder and Blackstone Cherry.

The daylong event, started in 2001, was canceled last year in the wake of Hurricane Rita.

In the past, the festival has hosted acts such as Sevendust, 3 Doors Down and Puddle of Mudd.
