G. Love Recruits Friends For Lemonade

The upcoming album from Philadelphia ‘ragmop’ artist G. Love will be studded with an eclectic array of guest artists including Ben Harper, Blackalicious and Jack Johnson. Last year, Love lent his flowing harmonica skills to Johnson’s Curious George soundtrack.
Among the other artists who will add their talent to G. Love’s unique blend of hip-hop and acoustics are Donovan Frankenreiter, Tristan Prettyman, and David Hidalgo of Los Lobos.
The first single from G. Love’s fresh album Lemonade called “Hot Cookin,” has already dropped and the video directed by Emmett Malloy will be out soon.
Lemonade, released by Jack Johnson’s label, Brushfire records, will hit stands, um... or stores on August 1.
