Hi-Hop Rumors: Suge Knight, Proof, Pitbull, Diddy and More!

This is illseed…I was seriously thinking of taking the day off, because like Biz Markie said: “Its Spring Again!” But, I think this will just be a truncated version of the rumors. Get up, get out and get some fresh air.

BAD CHOICE FOR A BAD BOY?

I don’t know if you remember, but I told you that Sean “Diddy” Combs and Pitbull were supposed to be working together on Bad Boy Latino. The deal never happened. The thing is, we never determined why. I heard that Pitbull wanted to be part owner in the venture and Diddy wasn’t having all that. Unsubstantiated rumors say Pitbull claimed, "Diddy is just too cheap." I don’t know, but this seems to have some level of validity.

SOMEBODY DONE LOST THEIR MIND!

Ok, so I got this anonymous email about a blog. Now these crazy fools, called The Black Operative, are listing what they deem to be Suge Knights debt in property and the millions of dollars in liens against him and suggest that this is the real reason the mogul declared bankruptcy. I looked at it and it seems to be official information, but some is blacked out. Check it out and they have some other insane information, which I’m not going to bother mentioning here. SNOOP DOGG BRINGS OUT HIS LIL’ FRIEND!

What do you do when you are unwanted in Las Vegas? You take your outfit to Australia, according to Snoop Dogg! I heard Snoop had the people waiting longer than R.Kelly in Atlantic City, but it was well worth the wait with a full entourage that included The Lady of Rage! You might not recall, but I got bashed pretty hard when I said Rage was the crème-de-la-crème of female rappers. I heard Snoop did his share of deviant behavior (LOL!) and even accidentally hit somebody with a blunt! Now, that’s Hip-Hop!

John Salley is my dude, despite what people think. He sure has a lot of fans out there and I think ever one of them wrote me. I know more mail is to come, since I recently was re-tipped that the radio machine known as Tom Joyner might actually replace John on the California airwaves this summer. The sweet Ananda, his radio dawg, will take her fine butt to another time slot – according to rumor. I don’t know who Ananda is moving in on, but watch out!

Shameless plug for Mick Boogie. My boy Mick has a pair of crazy mixtapes: “Ghostface: The Broiled Salmon mixtape” and Mobb Deep “More Money, More Murda.” I think that More Murda stuff should be put on pause though.

PROOF RUMORS - GEEZ!

Well, this isn’t quite rumors, but this Proof stuff is getting pretty crazy. The news is reporting that Proof got into about three separate altercations with patrons at the club where he would be murdered. Apparently, he was bragging about being "the king of
Detroit". During a pool game he got into yet another argument, reports say. He allegedly struck this man and then pulled out the gun and shot him. The club's bodyguard, who was armed himself, was the cousin of the man who was shot by Proof. He pulled his gun and shot Proof in defense of his cousin.
