A guest appearance on "Canadian Idol" and a handful of Canadian tour dates helped Nelly Furtado reclaim the top spot in the land this week.

Her latest album, "Loose," moved from No. 3 to No. 1 on sales of 14,000, bouncing fellow Canadian artist Billy Talent's "Billy Talent II" (11,000) down to No. 2, according to Nielsen SoundScan data.

"Loose" previously hit No. 1 when it debuted back in June, with 18,000 in sales.

Elsewhere, the Dixie Chicks' "Taking the Long Way" (8,000) climbed one position to No. 3, Rihanna's "Girl Like Me" surged four spots to No. 4, and Shakira's "Oral Fixation Vol. 2" clocked in at No. 5.

Three Days Grace's "One-X" moved up one place to No. 6, Johnny Cash's "American V: Hundred Highways" sank another two notches to No. 7, and Thom Yorke's "The Eraser" slid from No. 4 to No. 8 in its second week.

Gnarls Barkley's "St. Elsewhere" claimed No. 9, and Jmaes Blunt's "Back to Bedlam" re-entered the top 10 at No. 10.
