'Audiovent' is a band formed in Calabasis, Califoria in the early 1990's when all of the members were still in high school. The original members included Jason Boyd (lead vocals), Benjamin Einzinger (guitar, backing vocals), Paul Fried (bass), and Jamin Wilcox (drums, backing vocals). In 2001, the band signed with Atlantic Records and began recording their first major label album, Dirty, Sexy, Knights in Paris. The first song released off of the album was entitled "The Energy" and got significant national airplay on the radio. In 2004, the band split, due to "creative differences".
Benjamin Einzinger and Paul Fried moved on to started another band named Agent Sparks. Their first release was in September of 2005.
