Brooklyn's beloved bilingual-shoegazing-indie rockers Asobi Seksu are preparing to hit the road for an early spring tour. The band will be road-testing some new material from their recently completed second full-length, Citrus, expected to drop May 30 through Friendly Fire Recordings.

The album, their first since their critically acclaimed self-titled debut was released two years ago, was produced by Chris Zane (Les Savy Fav, Cloud Room, Calla) and will once again feature the beautiful artwork of Sean McCabe, who has worked with fellow NYC favorites Interpol.

The band's new material finds them further expanding on their passionate My Bloody Valentine-inspired rhythms and beautiful falsetto vocals placing them closer to the top of the New York City musical elite.

The tour kicks off March 6 at the Bowery Ballroom with Serena Maneesh and also finds the band making a stop at the SXSW festival in Austin.
