504 Boyz Information
504 Boyz

'504 Boyz' is a hip hop group led by Percy Miller, aka Master P. The other members are Lil' Romeo, Silkk The Shocker, Krazy, Magic, Choppa, and T-Bo. Their debut album Goodfellas, which went platinum, was released in 2000 and included the smash hit wobble wobble. Widely regarded as the most explicit hip-hop video to date, wobble wobble became an instant hit in America's Deep South.
Ballers, their follow-up album, includes the hit Tight Whips. The songs focus on well-equipped cars, referred to as tight whips. These include vehicles such as Bentleys, Gucci Ferraris, Mercedes-Benz, Lincoln Navigators, and Jaguars. Car accessories such as 24" rims, spinning rims, wood grain dash, remote control key, candy paint, stitched seats, TVs, navigation systems, and DVD players are also mentioned.
An irresistible posse cut, "Tight Whips" features exceptional tag-team rapping from the entire crew. "It's hot", Master P boasts. "It was so hot that we couldn't hold onto it no more. The bootleggers are trying to get it. The streets want it. The clubs want it and everybody wants it."
New members Choppa and T-Bo (No Limit's first white rapper) show impressive skills throughout Ballers, showing why Master P brought them into the New No Limit fold. This type of chemistry adds excitement to the mix and allows these up-and-coming acts to reach the heights of Master P's 504 Boyz. Magic says, "It brings in a variety of different audiences. With these different flavors, we can cater to different crowds."
The 504 Boyz have also enjoyed on-screen success with the hit movie Hollywood Homicide (2003), featuring Harrison Ford.
