'1208' was formed in 1997 in a punk rock group. In 2001, they signed a contract to Epitaph Records for their first 2002 debut album Feedback is Payback and produced it by Darian Rundall and Fletcher Dragge (Pennywise), their sound is a heavy, melodic onslaught and their lead singer's classic sounding. The guitarist of Black Flag, Greg Ginn's nephew Alex Flynn is in this band. Originally named Non-Ox 9. The name 1208 comes from the address several memebers of the band lived at, 1208 Ocean Ave.
