* Tyrone Anthony Smith, 19, of 1208 Crest St., was charged Saturday with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited to court. * Zebedee Martin Jr., 34, of 537 Oakwood Ave., was charged Sunday with larceny and possession of stolen goods. He was released on a written promise. * A 14-year-old boy was charged Sunday with concealment of merchandise. He was released to his parents. * Sherry Kelly Dowdy, 45, of 301 E. Rose St., was charged Sunday with driving while license revoked, speeding, fictitious information to an officer, and probation violation. She was placed in Lee County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond. * Nicolasa Barnes reported Friday that someone took her 1998 Nissan Sentra from 312 Green St. * Jannie Ray Dowdy, of 2624 Brick Capital Court Apt. 8, reported Saturday that someone forcibly entered her residence and took money. Lee County * Mary Ciolli, 57, of 418 Harbor Trace, was charged Friday with misuse of the 911 system. She was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond. * Rhonda Womack, 40, of 129 Lanier Farm Road, was charged Friday with failure to appear. She was placed in Lee County Jail under a $400 cash bond. * Jenny Saunders, 30, of 3308 Lower River Road, was charged Friday with three counts of failure to appear. She was placed in Lee County Jail under a $1,500 secured bond. * Nicholas Palmer, 28, of 587 Tempting Church Road, was charged Saturday with assault on a female, interfering with emergency communications, injury to personal property, and assault on a child. He was placed in Lee County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond. * Shannon Tart, 18, of 8114 Dixie Farm Road, was charged Saturday with failure to appear. She was placed in Lee County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond. * James Shull, 24, of 213 Whitfield Lane, Broadway, was charged Saturday with communicating threats. He was placed in Lee County Jail under a $500 secured bond. * Casey Barnes, 40, of 4130 Edwards Road, was charged Sunday with failure to appear. He was placed in Lee County Jail under a $2,544.11 secured bond. * John McIver, of 20 Ivory Drive, reported Friday that someone damaged the roof, the doors and the front corner panels of his 1999 Cadillac while it was parked at his residence. * Muriel Rogers, of 3708 S. Plank Road, reported Friday that someone took gas from her vehicle while it was parked at her residence. Lee County Schools * A 13-year-old male student at West Lee Middle School was charged Feb. 27 with disorderly conduct and injury to personal property. * A 14-year-old male student at East Lee Middle School was charged Wednesday with larceny and possession of stolen goods. He allegedly stole a laptop computer that belonged to the school. * Wesley Hart Womack, 18 , was charged Thursday at Lee County High School with unauthorized use of motor vehicle and driving while license expired. Chatham County * Joseph Farrar, 42, of 83 Anthony St., Pittsboro, was charged Feb. 23 with driving while impaired, careless and reckless driving, possession of alcohol in a passenger vehicle, and driving while license revoked. He was released on a written promise. * Francisco Marcelino, 22, of 221 Fontana Circle, Siler City, was charged Feb. 25 with driving while impaired. He was placed in Chatham County Jail under a $500 secured bond. * Kenneth Reaves, 26, of 246 Kinston Scurlock Road, Pittsboro, was charged Feb. 26 with larceny. He was placed in Chatham County Jail under a $500 cash bond. * Michelle Watson, 38, of 852 Clarence McKeithan Road, Sanford, was charged Feb. 27 with false report to law enforcement. She was placed in Chatham County Jail under a $500 secured bond. * Robert Thomas, 46, of 3825 Rives Chapel Road, Siler City, was charged Feb. 28 with resist, delay and obstruct. He was released on a $200 unsecured bond. * Jason Byrd, 17, of Lot 4 Tom Hudson Road, Pittsboro, was charged Feb. 28 with possession of marijuana. He was cited to court. * Derrick Jeffries, 19, of 1221 Hillsboro St., Pittsboro, was charged Feb. 28 with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited to court. * Dwight Siler, 51, of 704 Airport Road, Siler City, was charged Thursday with child support violation. He was placed in Chatham County Jail under a $1,408 cash bond. * Benito Acosta, 23, of 763 W. Dolphin St., Siler City, was charged Friday with six counts of failure to appear. He was placed in Chatham County Jail under a $500 secured bond. * William Havis, 29, of 511 Poe Road, Siler City was charged Friday with failure to appear. He was placed in Chatham County Jail under a $500 secured bond. * Duane Hearn, 42, of 61 Wimberly Road, Moncure, was charged Saturday with felony assault by strangulation and assault on a female. He was placed in Chatham County Jail without bond.
